BiH exports increased by 2.2 percent

Bosnia and Herzegovina is in the eight months of this year on foreign markets exported goods worth six billion and 32 million, which is 2.2 percent more than the same period last year.

At the same time, imports amounted to ten billion and 394 million KM, which is less by 0.2 percent, according to figures published by the Agency for Statistics.The coverage of imports by exports was 58 percent, while foreign trade deficit four billion and 362 million KM.Exports to CEFTA countries amounted to 863 million KM, which is 4.2 percent less than the same period last year, while imports amounted to one billion and 318 million KM, which is higher by four percent. The coverage of imports by exports was 65.5 percent.

Exports to EU countries in eight months of this year amounted to four billion and 422 million KM, which is 3.8 percent more than the same period last year, while imports amounted to six billion and 397 million KM, which is higher by 1, 9 percent.The coverage of imports by exports was 69.1 percent.
