The widow of former President of Yugoslavia Jovanka Broz died today at 11:45 pm in Belgrade 89 year, due to delays in the work the heart muscle, confirmed the director of the Emergency Center Zlatibor Loncar. She was admitted to the Emergency Center 23rd August in serious condition.

 

Jovanka Broz Budisavljević was the widow of Yugoslav President Josip Broz Tito. They were married by the 1952nd until his death in 1980. year. As a direct witness to the turbulent times in the history of the Balkans, it is always a matter of huge regional media interest. Jovanka, however, kept in extreme seclusion and rarely gave interviews. Many thought that her secluded life due to the big problems has undergone since her husband's death when the whole of its assets nationalized and when it was placed under house arrest. Reported to be living in poor conditions, and only the sixth July 2009th year after almost 30 years received identity documents - ID card and passport which she handed to ministers Ivica Dacic and Rasim Ljajic. Then Jovanka Broz thanked the Minister of Interior and Labour and Social Policy and laughingly remarked that he was very happy because now you can travel. Jovanka Budisavljević was born on 7 December 1924th in the village of Pecan, Lika. At 17 years old he entered the Communist Youth Association. During World War II, was wounded in the leg and fell ill with typhus. In 21th year received two decorations for bravery, and is also a holder of Partisan memorials 1941stJosip Broz Tito met during the German invasion of Drvar 1944th year.
