Germany: Serbia first in the number of asylum applications, BH sixth

Serbia is 2013. year was the first place in terms of total number of submitted and repeated requests for asylum in Germany, it is stated in the latest data from the German Federal Office for Migration and Refugees.

Citizens of Serbia last year filed a total of 18,001 asylum application in Germany, while the citizens of the Russian Federation in second place with 15,473 requests, and Syria in third with 12,863 claims.

Macedonia with 9,418 requests were in fourth place, and Bosnia and Herzegovina with the 4847 is in sixth place after Afghanistan, while Kosovo is filed 4,423 applications for asylum in Germany, carried by the Belgrade media.

In Germany last year filed a total of 127,023 asylum claims, or about 64 percent more than in the 2012th year.
