Climatologist Zeljko Majstorovic points out that autumn temperatures in Bosnia and Herzegovina to be above average.

The first day of autumn in BiH was marked by unstable weather in most BiH, towns and snow on some of the mountains, reports Anadolu Agency (AA).

According to climatologist Zeljko Majstorovic's snow on the mountains Bjelasnica and Jahorina is not uncommon at this time of the year.

"Snow in populated places in Central Bosnia is expected in the period between the 5th and 15th of November. Then we can expect in Sarajevo. Should be noted that in the Neretva valley snow fall much later," said Majstorovic in an interview with AA.

When it comes to autumn temperatures, Majstorovic said he was going to be something more than average temperatures are typical for this time of year.

"More sunny intervals will be in October. Should be noted that the fall will be very variable. We will be witnessing frequent shifts of rainfall and sunshine," he concluded Majstorovic.
