Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz died in the 90th year in a hospital where he was treated the last three weeks, reports Anadolu Agency (AA).

King Abdullah died at 1 o'clock in the morning local time, and the funeral will be held after the Asr Prayer in Riyadh.

The laws of Saudi Arabia require that the head of state came to Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz, while his successor declared Mukrin bin Abdulaziz.

King Abdullah became the king of Saudi Arabia on August 1, 2005, when he died his brother Fahd bin Abdulaziz.
