PHOTO: Goran Prong director of SIPA received 12 months probation
The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina rendered the first instance verdict finding Goran Prong, director of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) was found guilty of negligent performance of duty and sentenced to a suspended sentence of one year that can not be executed if within two years are commit another criminal offense.
The Court is satisfied beyond reasonable doubt that the Prong responsible for (not) procedures related to the violent protests in Sarajevo on 7 February 2014, when he ignored the calls to engage SIPA's special unit and the protection of the Presidency of BiH.
It has been established that the Prong an official in BiH institutions consciously violating the law and other regulations negligent act in the performance of duties due to which there was property damage exceeding 10,000 KM, reported Fena.
