Zivko Budimir acquitted charges of illegal possession and carrying of weapons

The former President of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Zivko Budimir was acquitted of charges of illegal possession and carrying of weapons.

Budimir in July 2014, was found guilty of these charges and sentenced to a suspended sentence of six months imprisonment that will not be executed if within one year of the judgment does not commit another criminal offense.

At this ruling and appealed to the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office in Sarajevo, conducting the proceedings, and Budimir defense. The indictment against Budimir was erected at the beginning of June 2013, and the trial began in September of the same year.

At today's hearing in Sarajevo Municipal Court dismissed the indictment protv Budimir.
