Klitschko told the West: Putin will lead to a third world war!
World boxing champion Vladimir Klitschko was verbally attacked by Russian President Vladimir Putin, accusing him to his actions could encourage the outbreak of World War III.
Klitschko has called Putin in an interview with sports newspaper "L'Equipe". Asked what would you say to Putin to meet him face to face, Klitschko said he'd warned him to repeat mistakes.
- I would tell him to do the same mistakes that have been made in the past - said Klitschko, reports AFP. - The war in the east of Ukraine does not make sense, we are like brothers (Ukraine and Russia). For two, five or twenty years, Russia would apologize for the aggression and annexation of Crimea - said Klitschko.
Klitschko and Ukrainian officials before him, urged Western countries to show more powers in relation with Russia. - I think that the European Union is sleeping. Putin does what he wants. In boxing we have a saying 'be aggressive towards the aggressor. He (Putin) will not stand over there if he does not show where the boundaries are. He will continue to march forward - said Klitschko.
