Protests in Sarajevo: Dogs have the right to life, just like the people
Members of the Association Av Mau, one hundred are now in front of the Novi Grad Municipality in Sarajevo held a peaceful protest on the occasion of the killing of stray dogs, writes news agency Patria.
"Dogs have the right to life, just like people," the motto of the protest and that on the Day of homeless animals. The aim of gathering attracting public attention to the problem of torture and illegal killing of stray dogs.
The competent authorities require consistent implementation of the Law on Protection and Welfare of Bosnia and Herzegovina, to a humane and lawful manner solve this problem.
