Dodik Bokšića suing for defamation and asking 5,000 euros
The court in Banja Luka, a hearing was held concerning the action of the President of the RS against SRS leader for libel.
In Banja Luka, the trial began with the charge of the President of the BiH entities Republic of Serbian Milorad Dodik, against the head of the Serbian Democratic Party, Mladen Bosic.
The preliminary hearing in the Municipal Court attended the Bosić a lawyer and co-workers. RS president did not come, but his interests represented by a lawyer.
Earlier Bosić explained that it was RS president sued for defamation, due to statements in the media which is Bosić Dodik accused of stealing millions.
Dodik of Bosic seeks compensation in the amount of 5,000 euros.
At separate press conferences after the preparatory hearing, the president of the SDS said that the judiciary is controlled in part, Dodik has called the charges lies.
'The judiciary under control'
"Most citizens of the RS already know that it is a notorious truth, that Milorad Dodik and his name have to do with massive corruption in the RS, with numerous scandals that are pulled by RS for years and that his failure to process in these affairs does not mean that money is not stolen, but means that the judiciary is part of the RS under control, "said Bosic at the press conference.
Dodik said that it was a media spectacle rather than evidence.
"If they wanted to prove, then they filed a lawsuit, and I am moved by the case. Therefore, they are the ones who have never had the courage to enter the process, to sue and try to prove it in court," the RS president.
He added that he believes that the court will make a decision according to the evidence.
"The evidence of what Mr. Bosic claimed no, because there is no guest judicial criminal conviction or against me any criminal trial for theft or fraud. Everything else is a lie," concluded Dodik.
