Bosniak Caucus vetoed the referendum in RS

Club in the Council of Peoples Republic of Serbian, raised the issue of vital national interest to the decision on the referendum on the Court and the Prosecutor's Office.

'FOR' the club Serbs

Club Serbs in the RS Council of Peoples was unanimously upheld the decision of the RS National Assembly to hold a referendum on the Court and Prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina, said the president of the club Pero Petrovic.
He said the club Serbs consider the referendum in accordance with the Law on Referendum, which was adopted in 2010.
Club Serbs on Wednesday held a meeting, at which it examined the documents which the RS National Assembly adopted at the 10th special session held on 16 July, and it is a decision to call a referendum on the Court and the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Head Club Mujo Hadžiomerović confirmed at a press conference in Banja Luka that the club raised the issue of vital national interest to the decision on a referendum in the RS, because they believe that it is unacceptable that the entity contesting the judicial institutions of the state.

The club will, he said, use all legal means to challenge the unacceptable decision on the referendum and that the Court and Prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina institutions established in accordance with the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina, according to Anatolia.

He announced that the Bosniak Caucus to request review of the constitutionality of the referendum in the RS, because they believe that the act has no support in the Constitution of RS.

Croatian club without majority

Hadžiomerović said that if the Constitutional Court of the RS rejects veto Bosniaks, request that the decision on the referendum and declare the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

"Club on this issue not taken a stand, because we did not have the required majority to make a decision whether it is a violation of vital national interest, primarily due to the absence of the delegation from the Croatian Democratic Union of Bosnia and Herzegovina," said Stipić.

Club delegates from others can not be any question of protection of vital national interest.

The procedure now requires to veto the Bosniak Caucus in the decision on a referendum in the RS Council of Peoples consider, and if attitudes do not agree, will sit and the Joint Commission of the National Council and the National Assembly of RS.

The final position

The RS National Assembly adopted the 15 July decision to call a referendum on the Court and Prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which, according to the decision, to be held in the first week after the expiry of 50 days from the entry into force of this Decision.

In the decision, which he supported the proposal of the President of the RS, Milorad Dodik, voted 45 deputies, while 31 of them abstained from voting, and the Bosniak deputies, in opposition, left the assembly hall before the vote.
