Zvornik is preparing for the arrival of refugees

The mayor of Zvornik, Zoran Stevanovic, confirmed that the police of the local authorities sought to provide a location where it will be used to house refugees, if the move towards Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Stevanovic said that so far there is no information that the refugees on the way to the border crossing near Zvornik.

Mayor of Bijeljina, Mico Micic said that this town has accommodation capacity for more people, and that he sought a meeting with the Civil Defence, to get everything ready for the reception of refugees.

The Civil Protection of the Republic of Serbian has confirmed that together with the state institutions are preparing for the onslaught of refugees, but that no information that this will happen.

Sanela Dujkovic, a spokesman for the Border Police, said that there is no group that is headed for Bosnia and Herzegovina.
