Black boxes from downed Russian plane badly damaged

Specialists who analyzed the black box of the Russian fighter-bomber "dry-24M", downed over Syria on November 24, they found that 13 of 16 microchips irreversibly destroyed, while others suffered damage, said Sergei Bainetov, Deputy Head of the Security Service of the Russian aviation.

Bainetov said that a microchip from a memory module of the black box in good enough shape to keep up with him, might try downloading.

"The microchip` BDD5` could still be operational because X-rays did not identify any internal physical damage, "he added Bainetov, reports TASS.

Decoding the black boxes from the Russian war planes is not impossible with the available funds due to severe damage to internal memory board and will require assistance of scientific institutions that possess advanced technology, the Ministry of Defence.

In decoding data from the plane that is shot down by Turkey in Syria attended by experts from China, Great Britain and the United States, according to the Ministry.

Foreign experts had no complaints regarding the content decoding black boxes, conveyed the "Sputnik".
