Nihad Hooks years in prison for burning the Presidency
Court sentenced today Nihad Trnka a year in prison for burning the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina during the protests held on February 7, 2014 in Sarajevo.
He was sentenced to agreement this prison, and he agreed to cooperate with the prosecution in order to discover other participants and organizers point to the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, announced the Prosecutor's Office.
According to the indictment, which was filed in mid-August, Trnka has committed a crime against general safety of people and property during the February protests in 2014.
The indictment alleges that Trnka approached the BiH Presidency building at the grand entrance to the building from Marshal Tito street, and broke the windows on the right side of the building, where the BiH Archive.
After that, states, Trnka lit a paper that was put out of the window in the room of the Archives, so he went to the east side of the building, where the lighter to light the curtains in the room, but then with other protesters blocked access to the building of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
These acts caused a great damage to the building of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina and other institutions, in the amount of 400,000 KM, and destroyed the archives of inestimable value for cultural and historical heritage of Bosnia and Herzegovina, announced the Prosecutor's Office.
