The army said it Ramadi completely free

Iraqi forces have liberated the city of Ramadi in the west of Baghdad, and set their national flag on the government complex, said on Iraqi command operations.

"Ramadi is freed and armed forces counter-terrorism have raised the flag on the seat of government," said Brigadier General Yahya Rassol on state television.

The city was in the hands of the Islamic state since May. This winning is the most important victory of the regular Iraqi army of jihadists.
