Arab League accuses Iran of provocation
Chairman of the European League Nabil al-Arabi today at an emergency meeting of the organization convened at the request of Saudi Arabia, accusing Tehran of "provocative actions".
He called on the heads of diplomacy of Arab countries to adopt a strong and clear common position in urging Iran to stop interfering in the internal affairs of Arab countries.
Saudi Foreign Minister Adel al-Džubeir accused Iran of deliberately failed to protect the Saudi embassy in that country, according to AFP.
Official Riyadh broke diplomatic relations and halted air traffic as demonstrators in Tehran set fire to the Saudi embassy and consulate in Mashad.
The protests are in response to a fact that Saudi Arabia last weekend seemed to leading Shiite priest Nimr al-Nimrah, organizers Shiite protests in 2011.
On the other hand, coming from Tehran accusations against Saudi Arabia to use the conflict with Iran to "negative impact" on the peace talks on the Syrian conflict.
-Saudi Arabia creates tension with the intention of negatively affecting the Syrian crisis - said Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said in a statement, according to Tanjug.
He added that Tehran will not allow "the Saudi actions leave negative consequences".
