TERRORIST ATTACK AND FIRE IN ISTANBUL

Center of Istanbul this morning is rocked by an explosion, when a suicide bomber blew himself up near a group of tourists. At least ten people were killed and 15 wounded. The explosion occurred in the central square of Sultanahmet, near Teodosijevog obelisk. There is a strong likelihood that extremists ISIL responsible for the blast, told Reuters the two senior Turkish security official. 

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said in a televised address that the attack was a suicide bomber originally from Syria, according to AFP. The blast wounded at least six Germans, one Norwegian and one Peruvian. At the request of the Prime Minister, the Turkish Supreme Council for Radio and Television imposed a temporary ban on reporting on the event.

 At the same time, a large fire broke out in a hotel in Maltepe district in the outskirts of Istanbul. According to preliminary information, the hotel has trapped many people, but were freed after rescue. It is alleged that the fire broke out during the works, ie, from sparks from welding.
