DURAKOVIĆ travels to America CALL TO BILL CLINTON

Former US President Bill Clinton invited the Mayor of Srebrenica Camil Durakovic to take part in a special plenary session at the annual meeting of the Clinton Global Initiative.In a statement to news agencies Durakovic said he would be very happy to respond to the call and looks forward to meeting at which they will talk about "reconciliation and joint society".

- I am pleased that I called Bill Clinton. This is a big event, I will have the opportunity to talk about Bosnia and Herzegovina as well as Srebrenica, the site where the genocide. Certainly this meeting means a lot for our Srebrenica, said Durakovic.One of the biggest events in the NGO sector in the world, will be held from 19 to 21 September in New York. At the recent annual meetings attended by many world political and business leaders including US President Barack Obama, then Bill Gates, Jack Ma, Hilary Clinton and many others.

"It was an honor to be with you last year in Srebrenica, and I was deeply moved by your speech ...." writes among other things Bill Clinton in a personal letter inviting Chief Durakovic to participate in the meeting.The importance of the announced plenary discussion in which will participate next Chief Durakovic and Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic, the fact that Bill Clinton moderated a discussion that was announced under the heading "Reconciliation and common society."
