Although the publication of names and surnames of pedophiles one of the most effective ways to combat sexual offenses against children, BiH is one of the few countries in the region that do not have a register of pedophiles.The Association of psychological and polygraph tests (APPI) from Banja Luka has recently launched an initiative to establish such a public registry in BiH, but it is not flowing, and there are no concrete proposals to amend the law which would be further tightened sanctions on suspected pedophiles.
