Kvesić: Pension payments could start earlier due to non-working days

On the occasion of the various information relating to the payment of pensions for the month of December, from the Federal Institute for Pension and Disability Insurance officials said that pension payments could begin on January 5, because on January 4, the first working day in 2017.

"The payment we can start on January 6, but we will not, because that day is the Catholic feast of the Epiphany, this is the day in one part of the Federation working day. We did not want to get in the position that we are accused of discrimination ", told Fena Department spokesman Tomislav Kvesić.
He added that the Department could not previously signed agreements with banks on credit arrangement, nor dispose of the funds for payment of pensions, while the Federation Parliament adopts the financial plan of the Institute, which was done on 29 December.
"The loan agreement will be signed today, and payments will begin on January 7, and via mail and through the banks, because the day before we switch means available," he said Kvesić.
