Prosecution of BiH: Dodik questioned as a suspect

The suspect Dodik is under investigation in a case relating to a criminal offense not enforce the decision of the Constitutional Court.

After questioning the suspect, the Prosecutor is continuing its investigation into this matter, said the Prosecution.

According to Article 239 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the official person in the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Entities or Brcko District, who refuses to enforce a final and enforceable decision of the Constitutional Court, the Court or the Human Rights Chamber, or prevent the execution of such decision or otherwise prevents the execution, shall be punished by imprisonment for six months to five years.

In September this year, the Serbian Republic held a referendum on whether it will be a day to celebrate this entity as January 9, the Constitutional Court declared unconstitutional. The Constitutional Court, also in July issued a temporary measure to suspend the decision of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbian to call a referendum, but in spite of this referendum was held.
