An important turning point in the case of Emir Spahic: Court decides on new club

The former captain of the football team of Bosnia and Herzegovina Emir Spahic this season will most likely end up still being a player of Hamburg.Specifically, as announced today the German media, Spahic has taken legal action against Hamburg, and has hired a lawyer after his HSV early January decided to end the contract.

However, as Spahic and Hamburg failed to agree on compensation for early termination of the contract, the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina has decided to engage a lawyer and give the case to court.New Hamburg coach Markus Gisdol does not want to Spahic in his team, but Emir now wants to train with the team, to which she is entitled because his contract with HSV expires only at the end of the season.

The hearing in this case is scheduled for January 31, but, according to the German Welt, is unlikely to be agreement on the compensation to be made, but will Spahic, as things stand now, by the end of the season to stay in Hamburg and train with the team but official matches will definitely not play.
