Joshua knocked out Klitschka and remained the world champion
Nearly 100,000 people attended the boxing performance of the decade at Wembley in the tough category between Vladimir Klitschka and Anthony Joshue. They both opened the match with a great deal of caution and respect towards the opponent. In the third and fourth rounds, there was already an exchange of blows on both sides, but the climax of the fight took place in the next two.
First Joshua sent Klitschka to the floor in the fifth round with a great series of hits in the head, but the Ukrainian came and rescued the end of the round. Joshua opened very well for the next round, but Klitschko caught him unprepared and knocked him in the middle of the sixth round. Joshua grabbed hard and tugged at the end of the round at the ring but still survived.
It was not long before the 14-year-old Briton had to fully regain strength and in the next three rounds doubled the adversary, occasionally taking the initiative by pouring directors and fists into the body and face of Klitschka. In the next round, Joshua won a knockout knockout championship in his favor. At the start of the round, Knockout Klitschka first and after a long countdown, the judge still allowed the Ukrainian to continue. Thereafter, two more judges were obliged to interrupt the match.
Joshua remains the unbeaten champion of the IBF in the heavyweight category with a score of 19-0. It is not official, but Klitschko has probably ended his career with this defeat. Below you can see the details that best show the dominance of Joshue. Attached is a footage of the whole fight.
