FOUR aid convoys from Bosnia followed Syria
The fourth humanitarian aid convoy of 17 trucks organized by non-governmental associations MFS-EMMAUS started on Friday from Male Brijesnica for Syria, which, including this convoy, so far from Bosnia and Herzegovina sent about 936 tonnes of aid, reports Anadolu Agency.
In the fourth humanitarian convoy is 341 tons of flour, 30,015 liters of oil, seven range of pasta, two pallets of jam, six pallets of clothing and nine pallets diapers.
The action of collecting aid for the fourth convoy largely helped Mufti Zenica and Banja Luka, the Association of Podrinje-Srebrenica and Foundation Muharem Berbić.Elmedin Škreb leader is the fourth humanitarian convoy and a member of the MFS-EMMAUS, and said that this is the biggest humanitarian convoy so far .
- We send our fourth convoy, the largest ever, and consists of 17 trucks, carrying about 24 tons of cargo each. He added that the assistance goes to town Reyhanlik, in the province of Hatay in southern part of Turkey, near the border with Syria, and Škreb pointed out that in this city lives of 90,000 local inhabitants and 120,000 refugees from Syria, which speaks of the generosity of the Turkish people. The convoy was headed for Syria in 11 hours from Male Brijesnica, and coming on the Turkish-Syrian border is expected on Tuesday night or Wednesday morning.
