TRUMP: There are great opportunities for peace between Israel and Palestine

President Donald Trump is ahead of the visit to Israel on Monday that there are, as he said, great possibilities to be achieved peace between Israel and Palestine, reports Anadolu Agency (AA). In an interview with the Israeli newspaper "Israel Hayom", Trump pointed out that there is a possibility to reach an agreement between the two sides.

- I love the people of Israel. Ultimately, working with great dedication in order to achieve peace between the Israeli and Palestinian people. I hope that peace will be established before anyone had expected - said Trump.

He added that a large team of people working hard in order to achieve peace between Israel and Palestine.

- We have a good team working on this issue. There are people like Jason Greenblatt (special envoy in charge of peace talks in the world) and David Friedman, the American ambassador to Israel - said the US president. When asked whether it will have certain requirements related to the suppression of the activity on the construction of Jewish settlements in East Jerusalem and the West Bank, Trump said he does not want to talk too much about the issue.

- I do not want to post this question. I believe that we will achieve an agreement - said Trump.

Asked about the possible relocation of the US Embassy in Jerusalem, Trump's brief said that about as well as other issues will be discussed later. He added at the end to admire the Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu.

- We value and we have a lot of admiration for Prime Minister Netanyahu - said US President.

Recall, Trump will visit Israel on Monday where he will meet with the President of Israel, Reuven Rivlin, Prime Minister Netanyahu, after which it will be in Bethlehem to meet with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.
