AMERICA CHINA warned Stop militarise islands in the South China Sea!

United States will not accept the militarization of artificial islands in the South China Sea conducted by the China warned US Secretary of Defense James Mattis.

Speaking at a security conference in Singapore, Mattis said that such moves undermine the region's stability, reports BBC. China's territorial claims in the resource-rich South China Sea disputed by several countries.

- We oppose the militarization of artificial islands and excessive maritime pretensions. We can not and will not accept unilateral, forced changes in the status quo - said General Mattis in his address at the annual forum of the Shangri-La Dialogue. At the same time, General Mattis praised the efforts of Beijing to curb ballistic and nuclear activities of North Korea.
