WHEN WE WANT TO PROTECT THE ENVIRONMENT AND WARNING The factory in Switzerland began to capture CO2 from the atmosphere, wants to make new products from it
In Switzerland, near Zurich, a couple of days ago, the factory opened a factory that started commercially by removing CO2 from the atmosphere. Attempts to pull into the lab have so far been successful, but this is the first time that this kind of system is used in this way. Their plan is to turn CO2 into new and useful products, naturally reducing CO2 atmospheric pollution.
Climeworks plans to convert captured CO2 into fertilizer, which will help grow greenhouse plants. Plants should therefore grow 20-30 percent faster. The real challenge will be to spread them, as the ultimate goal is to reduce the atmospheric pollution by 1 percent globally by 2025. For such a venture they will need another 250,000 size plants in Zurich.
It is necessary to reduce the damage already caused
Reducing the use of fossil fuels at zero is not enough to recover atmospheres, but it is important to remove the damage that has already been caused. By capturing CO2 from the atmosphere, the long-term collection and retention of CO2 would be suppressed. More long-term goals are to get them closer to "negative emissions", ie to achieve more CO2 capture than they currently produce.
Research on the international climate change panel shows that in the next 22 years the allowed warming up of the Earth could be exceeded by 2 degrees. Panel scientists believe that such warming is extremely dangerous, and its suppression should be the main objective of the Paris Accords, from which America recently announced a withdrawal.
