Countdown / Ukraine on the feet: From midnight will be able to without visas into EU countries

President of Ukraine Petro Porošenko has launched a timer that counts the time until the entry into force of the visa-free regime with the EU.

"At midnight, with the last tick, the era ends when the Ukrainians were separated from the European family," Porošenko said. According to him, this is not the end of the European path, but is a major boost to the country's reforms.

"I believe Ukraine will soon be in NATO and the European Union. Nothing will stop us," the Ukrainian president said. The visa-free regime between Ukraine and the European Union will enter into force on 11 June. All citizens of Ukraine who own a biometric passport will be able to visit most EU countries without a visa and stay there for up to 90 days in a period of 180 days.

Travel Freedom does not apply for entry to the UK and Ireland from the EU, as well as Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Iceland and Norway.
