Storm in the region: The wind swept the trees and carried roofs

Heavy storms and rain accompanied by a honeycomb city hit the western parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and previously Croatia and Slovenia during the Sunday afternoon.

Heavy rains, accompanied by thunder and the city, hit the Una-Sana Canton. For now there is no material damage data. Storm came from Slovenia to Croatia, first to Zagorje and Istria, and then spread to Kvarner. Dnevnik.hr reports that the storm is a storm and a tree. The morning paper reports that it was particularly dramatic in Novigrad, where the storm clouds completely darkened the sky, as can be seen on numerous photos published on social networks.

Local media in Porec write that the main blow of a stormy storm was followed by the city for several minutes, and that it was caused by advertisements, chairs, tiles, tables, umbrellas and awnings, containers and waste bins.

Dramatically and in the northwest of Croatia

Pine needles, branches and leaves were sealed by the sewer gratings, which made parts of Poreč "swim under water" for a certain amount of time. Allegedly, more vehicles remained trapped in rainfalls. In the northwestern part of Croatia there was heavy rainfall, and sometimes a city. Hum on Sutla, located close to the border with Slovenia, was among the first to get stormed, and Zagorje hit the hay and hazelnuts city in the afternoon, Dnevnik.hr writes.

Blocked roads in Slovenia

Storms and strong winds have caused earlier problems in the west and in the center of Slovenia, the State Information Center for Traffic reported. Some roads were blocked due to felled trees and slopes between Nova Gorica, Tolmin and Bovec, STA reports. State media reported that along the Soča River, the wind was carrying roofs from houses, and that in some places power lines were dropped.

The National Rescue and Disaster Relief Service reported that the storm was hit by numerous trees in Kamnik, Škofja Loka, Medvodama and Komenda.
