Govedarica: The statement in 'Evening' is not the attitude of Mektić and SDS

SDS leader Vukota Govedarica said today that the statement of the Minister of Security in the Council of Ministers Dragan Mektić that "the Serbs must pass the catharsis and recognize the genocide in Srebrenica" is not the position of Mektić or the SDS.

Govedarica said that Mektić told reporters yesterday that it was "about an edited statement" with the goal of his discrediting. "It is evident that a long period of time is led by Haranga against Mektić, that is, the Minister of Security in the Council of Ministers. I reject all this with a clear theory: in the past war crimes in all three countries were committed," Govedarica said. Published footage: Maktic's answer to the question about Srebrenica. Mektić denies "Vecernji": I absolutely did not comment that much

He pointed out that all three sides today,

after so many years they have to look at truths in the eyes and condemn individual crimes that some people stood in order to achieve reconciliation and thus provide the future that is needed for all citizens living in BiH.

For Vecernji list, the edition for BiH, Mektić said that "Serbs must pass catharsis and recognize the genocide in Srebrenica" and that "there are relevant documents proving genocide", but at yesterday's press conference in Sarajevo he denied that he said that he pointed out that there was a terrible crime in Srebrenica.

After Mektić's denial, "Vecernji list" published an audio clip of Mektić's statement on his website.
