Croatia sent Serbia a note for Ivica Dacic's statements
The note points out that Minister Dačić's statements to the UN have shown that the Republic of Serbia continues to abuse and manipulate Jasenovac victims for daily political purposes.
The Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia sent a note to the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Zagreb expressing deep dissatisfaction with the statements of the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, Ivica Dačić, at the United Nations Headquarters in New York on January 25, 2018, the exhibition "Jasenovac - the right to remember", they announced from the Ministry.
The note points out that Minister Dačić's statements to the UN have shown that the Republic of Serbia continues to abuse and manipulate Jasenovac victims for daily political purposes. The Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs warns that these false and abusive statements directed to the Republic of Croatia and its officials bring into question the sincerity of the declarative positions of the Republic of Serbia on the desire for reconciliation and the building of good neighborly relations.
Recall, Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic, who opened the Jasenovac-right to unforgettable exhibition at the UN headquarters in New York, invited Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic to honor the victims of the Jasenovac camp and clearly indicate who these victims are.
Even before the controversial exhibition opened, Croatia accused Serbia of "manipulating and placing false information" at the UN headquarters in Jasenovac at the UN headquarters in New York, and the victims of the Ustasha camp during the Second World War used it for "propaganda purposes".
