Komšić's reply to Čović

The President of the Republic of Croatia can not interfere in the interior of our country, DF President Željko Komšić repeated to HDZ BiH leader Dragan Čović.

Croatian member of the Presidency of BiH Dragan Čović as a member of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts (HAZU) held a half-hour speech in Zagreb on Thursday. Among other things, the HDZ leader, responding to a question from the audience, commented on the latest developments by the President of the Democratic Front Zeljko Komsic, referring to the recent visit of Croatian President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović to our country.

"Komšić will do everything to break the Croatian national being in BiH and we will not allow him. He will use every opportunity from today to the election to hurt both the institution and the individual, he was the president of the Republic of Croatia, the Parliament, the Government of the Republic of Croatia or any minister" are Covic.

The DF leader for Oslobodjenje says that such a reaction by Covic is meaningless.

"My comment was about what the Ms. President of the Republic of Croatia worked in Bosnia and Herzegovina and what kind of comments she made. It is not her that regulates internal relations in BiH," Komsic said and repeated, as he said, a statement from which he himself became boring.

"For a thousand years I am speaking, imagine that somebody from our country should come to Croatia and comment on the way in which the President of Croatia is doing, and she says that they are the guarantor of the Dayton Peace Agreement." It is not true that Croatia is not a guarantor of that agreement, already in the signing of the agreement, that country was listed as someone who was a party to the war in BiH, "explained the DF president, noting that the same opinion had, regardless of the way in which such comments came, eastern or western.

"And why this is how they behave, they need to ask them, and why Dragan Covic plays the lawyer of the neighboring state and the neighboring authorities, we should also ask him again, although we all have a clear answer," Komsic said.

On the part of Covic's statement in which he said: "Such is the attitude and when it comes to that Ivo Komsic in that Croatian Council in Sarajevo", DF leader responds with laughter:

"So what would Dragan now, that all the Croats in our country are thinking of his chief, do not give God," Komsic says.
