Mogherini-Hahn: Adopting excise is fueled by reforms
Adopting the Amendments to the Package of Excise Taxes in the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina is an important achievement. This decision will give new impetus to the reforms needed to secure long-term financial stability of the country, according to a joint statement by Mogherini and Hahna.
High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice President of the European Commission Federica Mogherini and Commissioner Johannes Hahn on the Reform Bills Law in BiH, which was adopted this morning at the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, said that adoption of this set of laws will enable BiH to work on the construction of a modern highway and road infrastructure, with substantial support from international partners, including the EU.
That would be, added Mogherini and Hahn, in turn open the way for the necessary investments and jobs and will provide a significant boost to growth.
They emphasized that measures were taken that were necessary for the prosperous prosperity of the citizens and gave recognition to the representatives of both Houses of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, which brought "a difficult short-term measure in the interest of a better future for BiH and its citizens".
