SBB proposes that the street in Sarajevo bears the name of Stephen Hawking

The Alliance for a Better Future (SBB) has expressed respect for the recently deceased top scientist and intellectual Stephen Hawking and announces the initiative to have one of Sarajevo's streets named.

"Stephen Hawking criticized in the heaviest times for Sarajevo and Sarajlija (during the 1993 war siege) to the world public and the Western government for passivity, sending letters of support to the citizens of Sarajevo.

Given the global and civilization value of Stephen Hawking's name, SBB's deputies in the KS Assembly, and councilors in the city's municipalities will launch an official initiative that one of the city's central streets be named after that giant, "it says.

In a press release from the Press Center SBB BiH are reminded of the words of Stephen Hawking, sent in 1993 to citizens of Sarajevo. "The attack on Sarajevo is a cruelty that must not be allowed in a world that claims to be civilized. I am very disappointed with the reaction of the Western governments, and I send my best wishes and support to the citizens of Sarajevo."
