"Sarovic candidate for the Presidency of BiH"

Following the city boards of the SDS Doboj, Bijeljina and Banja Luka and the Regional Committee of the SDS, the Sarajevo-Romanija region today proposed its candidate for one of the two key functions in the October elections.

The Alliance for Change will perform together in the forthcoming elections, which means that the SDS will be nominated for one of the two key functions, the Regional Committee of the SDS Sarajevo-Romanija region suggests, and propose that the SDS elect the Serbian member of the Presidency of BiH.

"The unanimous conclusion of the SDS Regional Board of the Election Unit 8 is that the SDS withdraws the first move, to opt for the position of a Serb member of the Presidency, and we suggest that it be Mirko Šarović," after SDS Vice President Milovan Bjelica, reports BN.

The SDS Regional Board points out that the city committees of the SDS Banja Luka, Bijeljina and Doboj also proposed extremely high quality candidates and that the Main Committee and the Presidency of the Party will present the final position.

"And if it does not accept our proposal, we will certainly do our best to contribute to the victory of the SDS," Bjelica said, adding that the SDS Regional Committee is going to win a victory in the Election Unit 8 for all four levels, that is, for the President Republika Srpska, a Serb member of the Presidency, and a list for the National Assembly of Republika Srpska and the Representative Council of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH.

The SDS regional committee of the Sarajevo-Romanija region believes that changes in Republika Srpska have to come because it is the only way to stop the departure of young people and to improve the disastrous situation in the economy, health care and all other segments of the citizens' lives.
