What's new in the Inzko Report on the situation in BiH
The harsh rhetoric, secessionism, stories of war and armaments worried the High Representative.
The report stated decisively that Bakir Izetbegovic and Fadil Novalic talk about weapons, Fahrudin Radoncic's war, and Dragan Covic, Milorad Dodik and Mario Karamatic on the overcomination and disintegration of BiH.
"They give controversial statements, especially Bosniak politicians regarding rearmament, in connection with hypothetical possible conflicts. This also applies to the purchase of long pipes for RS police and the strengthening of extremism," said Inzko.
Inzko said that the Serbs in the RS continue to deny the state of BiH, advocate a possible secession, and support war crimes convicts and call for the reconstruction of the RS.
"Croats are seeking territorial reintegration and even call for the disintegration of the state," he said.
"We share the many concerns of the High Representative that are listed in the Report, such as those on the break-up of the country, but also those of a possible war," said Amy Tachoco.
"Bosnia and Herzegovina remains committed to securing peace, ensuring military and police presence in UN peacekeeping missions: At this moment, we have 42 people in peacekeeping missions around the world," said Milos Vukašinović, an ambassador of BiH before the UN.
In the report, the High Representative also expressed concern about the celebration of the RS Day, the arrival of Night Wolves. The representative of Russia in the United Nations reacted to this, but also the thesis on the purchase of weapons.
In addition to security, the key theme of the report was the non-implementation of the Constitutional Court's judgments. First of all, the Election Law.
"If political leaders do not stop the current stalemate in the electoral reform, there is a real risk that the authorities will not be formed after the elections, and the authorities are key in the continuation of the reform. There is nothing that is inevitable in the political crisis after the election. that would not have happened, "said the EU representative at the UN.
