Brcko / accused of fraud: In the show "Fulfill my wish", poverty was playing

The Brcko District Prosecutor's Office filed an indictment against spouse Dž. P. and J. A. who are accused of misleading donors by falsely depicting poverty through TV shows.

The indictment alleges that in the period from the second half of March to the April 5, 2017, in the Brčko District of BiH, with the intent to realize the unlawful material gain, the production of the show "Fulfill My Desire" Hayat Television sent a letter in pcs

The show stated that they were both spouses and their common child aged 9 months in a difficult financial situation, as was also shown photographs showing an auxiliary wooden building allegedly living, a surface area of 9 m2 provided by M.K. to use. They also stated that they receive monthly income of 250 Convertible Marks from which they pay a KM 150 loan, and that they do not have the means to meet the basic needs for themselves and the child and that they have no place to live.
The indictment alleges that the spouses listed it in the show, although they knew and were aware that Dž. P. owner of several properties entered in a land register with two fields and a residential building, and that J.P. the beneficiary of a personal disability allowance in the regular monthly amount of 108.86 Convertible Marks, as well as to realize the rights from the Pension and Disability Insurance Fund of the Pension and Disability Insurance Fund of FBiH in the monthly amount of 622.72 Convertible Marks.

C.Š. handed them a total of 500 euros, or 977.92 KM, collected as voluntary contributions by citizens, and told them that the remaining collected assistance in the amount of 1.550 KM would be paid to the account of the Furniture Salon in Brčko, in which they would choose the things they had necessary.

After public broadcasting on May 4, 2017, a reaction from citizens was suggested, suggesting that the property of the family of Dž. P. is not the way they showed it. On May 11, they returned to the rooms of Hayat Television and returned a total of KM 850, which resulted in unlawful property gain of KM 977, out of which amount they made a refund of 850 KM.

The spouses are charged that as co-perpetrators, with the aim of acquiring unlawful material gain to themselves, they brought the citizens falsely with the presentation of the facts into error and led them to do the damage to their own and others' property, thereby committing the crime of fraud.
