Cvijanovic: I do not feel good about the departure of young people, but maybe that number is not accurate

Republika Srpska Prime Minister Zeljka Cvijanovic said in an interview with BHRT that she does not feel well about leaving people from the country, but has called into question the number of 68,000 who have been in the last four years looking for happiness outside the Serb entity. He thinks this figure is not verifiable.

This migration occurs everywhere in the region. When you take the countries that are already members of the EU, you see that a large number of people are leaving Croatia, moving to other areas of the Union or going to some third countries, "said Zeljka Cvijanovic, adding that the authorities in the Serbian entity must create the preconditions for leaving the departure less.

She pointed out that the fact that the Serbian entity has an increase in the number of employees and that, according to data from September, the smaller BH should not be ignored. The entity has 263,476 employees.

"Our goal was to reach those numbers that we had before the outbreak of the global economic crisis that has followed us for many years now and we are on the right track. If we recorded a 3.5 percent growth last year, we have to achieve higher growth rates we could manage to provide a better standard of living and we need to be patient, "the entity's Prime Minister said.

GOVERNMENTS CAN HELP REFORM AND LOANS

Reforms are what helps the Serbian government work, and reforms imply different things, says Cvijanovic, adding that part of the reforms seek to create a better business environment, and entity governments have thrown on this business.

"We have made certain memoranda with both the business community and the union in order to eliminate obstacles to faster and better economic growth," she said.

She thinks that governments can also help loans, especially loans that have their own development dimension that will allow them to invest in certain areas that will, as a consequence, entice some sectors in the economy.

"Through the Economic Reform program, we have just defined the key things to get the increase in the number of employees and how to increase that in the real sector." That is the priority and we are succeeding in this. All this number of newly employed mostly relates to the real sector, "said Cvijanovic .

THE SUCCESS OF 2017 YEARS IS A STABILIZATION OF THE BUDGET

Asked to point out the biggest outcome of the entity government in the past year, Zeljka Cvijanovic said that this was a stabilization of the budget despite various blockades.

"We have settled all the obligations towards farmers and we have a completely different and more casual situation in which we succeeded, despite the strong obstacles, political, economic and financial, to achieve good results," she said.

As a failure, she outlined a missed opportunity to open up the issue of linking education with the needs of the labor market.

"We have not been brave enough to behave in this way. We have been thinking more about what kind of resistance we will encounter, but about what we will have," said Serbian Prime Minister Zeljka Cvijanovic, in an interview with BHRT.
