Economic momentum and opening tens of thousands of jobs

The adoption of a set of excise laws has come up with a shared opinion of politicians in BiH, but the attitude of the international community is unique in the positive assessments regarding the adoption of this law, and this view is shared by most economic experts in our country.

Among them is academician Muris Čičić, a professor at the Faculty of Economics in Sarajevo, who for "Avaz" says that adopting a set of excise laws can lead to real and genuine economic progress of our country.

Positive effects

Professor Cicic believes that progress should be enough to allow the day when they are adopted

excise duties should even be proclaimed, as I say, the day of prosperity of BiH. And that, he believes, should be done due to the fact that more intensive construction of the motorway is expected in the next four years.

According to him, the positive effects of proper spending on the funds raised by excise taxes will lead to activation of billions per euro through various funds. From the European Union, the European Investment Bank to the World Bank.

Politician does not care

So, we will have a combination of funds, both EU funds and domestic funds, but which will contribute so much to BiH's economic and economic progress that it's hard to imagine. So, we will have a progress of 0.2 to 05 percent of GDP thanks to this law. And that will make the job available, according to my estimation, about 100,000 people - says Čičić.
Commenting on the criticisms made by opponents of the excise law these days, Professor Čičić says that they are not only ignorant, but also those who want to pick up certain political points, trying to cover this solution.

These are first and foremost people who, first, do not understand. Secondly, you have a lot of politicians, people who have not met this moment in politics in BiH. People who simply do not care and do not care. And a lot of "ordinary", conditional, people fell under their propaganda - Professor Čičić concludes.

Unlock funds

BiH Finance and Treasury Minister Vjekoslav Bevanda has earlier estimated that by adopting a set of excise laws, funds will be disbursed that have been contracted with road construction creditors amounting to approximately 528,450,000 euros. He also said that grants will be blocked through access to the BiH Transport Community and Corridor 5C will be built much faster than previously.
