HBO DOCUMENTARY: If there was no Tito, would not the Americans land on the moon?

This is one of the wildest conspiracy theories of the Cold War plot, and the documentary about the alleged YU space program will soon have a world premiere

At the Tribeca Film Festival in New York in April, his world premiere will feature the film "Houston, we have a problem" by Slovenian filmmaker Žiga Virc, who deals with one of the biggest theory of the Cold War plot - did Yugoslavia have a space program sold by Tito to the Americans, after which the Americans managed to land on the Moon?

The story tells the story that Yugoslavia developed its program on the basis of the secret diaries of the prominent Slovenian scientist and space pioneer Herman Potocnik, allegedly discovered in 1947, and the space program was established already next year.

At the end of 1960, the US learned of the Yugoslav space program, and in March 1961, the authors claimed, Yugoslavia sold it to the Americans. In May of the same year, just two months after that, then President John Kennedy announced the departure to the Moon. In the trailer, one can hear the voice of a man who knew everything about it saying that he "falsified sketches and beautified the results of the test launch".

The details of this incredible story, which many have so far said that there is no evidence for it, and NASA has for years claimed that it is not true that Kennedy bought Tito from anything like this, like this.

In 1961, Tito sold the Yugoslav space program to the Americans, which was secretly developed at the '505' facility - the Zeljava underground airport near Bihac.

Thanks to this great "gift", the Americans sent the first man to the moon, Yugoslavia became immediately the most prosperous state of commerce, and Josip Broz Tito became a true playboy and one of the most respected world leaders. The greatest secret of the Cold War between the USSR and the United States has remained hidden in decades in one of the most mysterious military bases at the time - the Zeljava Airport not far from Bihac, very close to the border of Croatia and BiH.

According to this story, Zeljava was the largest submarine space center in Europe, and allegedly even rockets were built there for the United States, while Tito and Jovanka were reportedly regularly visiting the NASA hub in Houston.

Bill Barry, NASA's historian, has once denied this story, and said that even if it was true that Kennedy bought a space program from Yugoslavia, America would never let him know that landing on the Moon helped them with technology produced outside of America.

In a little over a month, the film (the first HBO production in this part of Europe) about this perhaps the worst story from the former Yugoslavia will be presented to the world public, and the trailer ends with the words of Richard Nixon: "We will shave those Yugoslav whores sons from the face earth. I mean it seriously. "
