He played for Inter, bought a club bearing his name, and became coach, player and owner of that team
Do you remember Mohamed Kallon?
Genuine fans of the most important side things in the world surely remember the former striker of Inter, who put on Sierra Leone's soccer map of his Serie A games, and of course it's Mohamed Kallon.
Mohamed Kallon signed for Inter in 1995 when he was only 16, but for the next four seasons he played on loan in Italian clubs. However, the fate wanted the Sierra Leone striker to return to Inter in the summer of 2001, when his incredible popularity in the country, as well as around the world, began.
Kallon drew attention because he had a number three on his back, although he was an attacker and became a favorite of Inter fans for a short time, although at that time, he played big Ronaldo at this club. Kallon, who was given the chance to show how much he could, was the worst injuries of the Brazilian striker. In the season 2001/02. he scored as many as 15 goals in all competitions and seemed to be a brilliant career in front of him.
However, only a year later, everything has fallen into the water. Kallon was positive on doping, after which he received a fierce suspension and a ban on playing in Italy. At the time Kallon played for Inter because of his huge popularity, the club from Sierra Leone decided that the then Sierra Fisheries club would be renamed FC Kallon in honor of this player.
To make things even strange two years later, Mohammed Kallon has decided to buy this club for nearly £ 20,000. So Kallon became the owner of FC Kallon. However, as the game was concerned, he did not do it well, although he was pretty good at Monaco after leaving for Inter.
In 2009 he even played for his Kallon, and for a time he was a player, coach and owner of this club. Kallon managed to become the champion of the country in 2007, but then there was a collapse of football in this country for corruption. But Mohamed Kallon is still struggling to regain popularity of football as it was.
