Who are the Austrians who open 800 jobs in Lukavac?
A few days ago it was announced that Boxmark had the intention to expand its capacities in Lukavac and hire new 800 workers.
In the release, a lot of information about the company has not been published, except for the production of textile and leather parts for the automotive industry. According to the research, the word about the world giant, whose headquarters in Austria, which in the countries where the factories opens, is constantly developing the work and increasing the number of employees, which is best illustrated by Croatia's example. If the local authorities do everything to make this company successfully develop its business in BiH, there is no doubt that it will fulfill its promise of massively hiring new workers.
Boxmark is, in fact, one of the world's leading manufacturers of leather products when it comes to the automobile industry, the airline industry, then the seat for railways, yachts, household furniture, etc. As far as the auto industry is concerned, almost all of the world's leading manufacturers, such as Audi, Bentley, BMW, Bugatti, Ford, Jaguar, Lamborghini, Mercedes-Benz, Opel, Porsche, VW and many others are among their customers. In addition to leather seats, produce and other interior parts of the leather, such as armrests, steering wheel covers, etc.
When it comes to air carriers, among their customers are giants such as Emirates Airline, Etihad Airways and Lufthansa. The situation is similar when it comes to railways and yachts. A company other than factories in Austria has plants in Germany, China, Mexico, Argentina, Slovenia and Croatia. For Bosnia, an interesting example of Croatia is where Boxmark has been operating successfully for years, has factories in several locations and, according to the local media, each year increases the number of employees by about 400. At the beginning of the year, Boxmark had about 4,000 employees in Croatia.
The company even faced a problem in Croatia that it could not find enough workers, so in February of this year they had to broadcast an ad in shock television terminals, calling on workers to apply for work in the facilities of an Austrian giant. Otherwise, according to BiznisInf, Boxmark last year, when it started production in BiH, in Lukavac, already employed about 200 workers and had revenues of 22 million KM.
In the near future, they plan to expand production capacities. First of all, it involves the construction of a new production hall of about 10,000 m2, which is the first phase of a total investment project that should result in opening about 800 new jobs in this company.
