LIVE: Strong explosion near Times Square, injured, police pull one person

A strong explosion at the bus terminal in Manhattan has erupted in New York today.

The terminal at which the explosion occurred is near the famous Times Square. ABC News reports, citing police sources, that two people were slightly injured in the explosion.

The police detained one person. Local media report that tourists immediately started running away, and immediately firefighters emerged on the spot. Several bus lines are evacuated. Apart from the fact that there was an explosion, it is still not clear what is happening.
