Novalic: The departure of workers abroad protects the rights of employees who remain in BiH
In addition to May 1, International Labor Day, the Prime Minister of FBiH Fadil Novalic addressed the situation of labor rights.
He said that the state union mostly deals with solving the issue of civil servants and clerks and that they are not present in the real sector.
"The real sector is not covered by this union. The branch unions are covering the real sector and there are engaged experienced people because this can be seen during negotiations with the Government or employers," said Prime Minister Novalic.
However, he added, there are markets that regulate certain things, explaining that in this mandate the average salary in the Federation has increased from 832 to 888 KM, not because of the work of the federal government because it is not able to influence it, but because the trained employees started leaving what forced employers to raise salaries.
"This trend will continue. The market at this moment is more active in protecting the rights of employees than what a trade union realistically does," federal Prime Minister Novalic said.
He said that the union can not organize a congress and elect a new leadership, and at the same time accuse the federal government of interfering with these things, but that is not true, Novalic claims, because the work of the changes involved them.
