An extraordinary press conference on the culmination of protests by former fighters and the blockade of the main roads in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina took place Wednesday, February 28, at 23:15 hours, in the building of Energoinvest in Sarajevo.

Fadil Novalic, Prime Minister of the FBiH, pointed out that resolving the position of the veteran population is an extremely important issue, as confirmed by the fact that it is part of the reform agenda and that the FBiH Government will continue to work in that direction in cooperation with the organizations of war organizations.

However, he stressed that these protests are the result of an organized chaos, which is deliberately created, because unrealistic requirements that are impossible to implement in the current financial situation are placed before the Government of FBiH.

- The Federation of BiH currently allocates 650 million KM at all levels of government to improve the situation in the combat population at an annual level. After 11 billion, as far as the total spent so far on resolving the issue of fighters, the Federation of BiH can no more than that. The one who imagined these protests set such high demands that the FBiH can not execute them. So, they set up demands that we can not fulfill, I think that lies in the essence of the problem, said Prime Minister Fadil Novalic in front of BH today. to journalists.

He added that the continuation of the blockade could cause a chaos with devastating consequences.

- We do not claim that 650 million KM has no wrongly targeted funds. This group can help us to change these flows and the purpose of the funds together, if they go to those who did not deserve it. But again I repeat, the Federation of BiH can not do more than this. If the blockade continues, and it is unlawful, it will be a consequence ... If not, we invite the authorities to order the citizens of the FBiH free movement and access to factories, hospitals and cities. The blocs will not be able to tolerate, as cantonal laws say that it is forbidden for citizens to interfere with daily activities and movements, as well as the implementation of economic activities, Novalic pointed out.

Federal Minister for the Issues of Fighters and Disabled People of the Defense and Liberation War Salko Bukvarevic at the evening's extraordinary conference specified:

- The FBiH Government allocates 315.5 million KM for the solution of the veterans' disability protection, while another 60 million are allocated by the cantons ... From the position of labor and social policy, we have already allocated 254 million KM ... Last year we prepared and sent four laws, they solved the issue of improving the combat disability protection.

He also stated that representatives of the FBiH Government had been ready to talk with the fighters who had been protesting in Sarajevo this morning, but, he said, they did not want to send their representatives.
