New guidelines: Normal pressure MORE NOT 120/80

The idea that normal blood pressure is 120 with 80 and that all the values beyond that signal that the patient should contact the cardiologist is no longer valid.

New guidelines were issued, according to which the normal pressure was changed by 10 and now it is 130 to 80.

The European Cardiology Association issued new guidelines last year, according to which normal pressure is up to 140 systolic (upper number in blood pressure measurements) and 90 diastolic (lower number). However, this is no longer valid. New medical guides were adopted, reducing the amount of normal pressure to 130 by 80.

Experts have decided on this move and have lowered those values again, as they believe that there is a steady increase in the number of obese people and those who are poorly eating, who are at risk of getting hypertension.
