The electricity price for households supplied by the EP BiH remains the same

The Energy Regulatory Commission of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FERK) gave its approval to the proposals of the entire utility company of the Public Enterprise of the Electricity Company of Bosnia and Herzegovina, according to which the electricity price for households remained unchanged compared to the current one, according to Anadolu Agency (AA).

At today's regular session, FERK has given its consent to the proposal of the prices of public service providers for the provision of universal service to the Public Enterprise (JP) Elektroprivreda BiH d.d. - Sarajevo. Electricity prices for the household category remain the same, or will not change as compared to the current one. In the category Other Power Consumption at 0.4 kV (kilovolt), for customers and tariff groups with a power output of more than 23 kW (kilowatts), will increase the overall average cost of 3.6 percent, they said from FERK.

Also, for customers with a power supply of less than 23 kW, ie for customers of the II and V tariff groups who have a two-meter meter, a decrease of the total average price by 0.71 percent, or 0.56 percent, for customers with single-tariff meter is proposed.

The prices of this public service provider will apply from April 1 this year, according to FERK.

In the price of the public service provider, no fee for promoting electricity generation from renewable energy sources and the amount of value added tax that are recorded on each individual customer's account are not included, notes FERK and adds that the Decision on approval of JP Elektroprivreda BiH d.d. - Sarajevo on the proposal of the price of a public service provider to provide universal service will be published on the FERK web site and the bulletin board and in the "Official Gazette of the Federation BiH".
