Gracanica / Osman and Zineta volunteered almost 60 liters of blood

Pensioners Osman (63) and Zineta Kozarić (58) in Gračanica are known as multiple voluntary blood donors. They did not praise, but their good deeds were appreciated by others, especially those who, through their precious fluid, saved their lives. They received numerous awards, compliments, plaques and cash prizes.

Osman gave blood more than a hundred times, and Zineta 50.

- Blood was first given when I was 19 years old. It was a traffic accident, and without a doubt, I responded to the call. Two years ago, I got high blood pressure and diabetes, and I can no longer, and I gave blood 118 times, nine of them in the war. That's about 40 liters of blood, and with his wife 60 - says Osman.

Zineta says that those who donate blood should be more valued in society and have at least symbolic benefits.
