BND / Panic in Berlin: Kim's nuclear missile can reach Germany
Deputy Director of the German Federal Intelligence Service (BND), Ole Diehl, told advocates there that North Korean missiles are now capable of carrying nuclear weapons and that they can reach Germany and Central Europe.
It is alleged that Diehl, in the words of the unnamed participants in the briefing, told the MPs in a closed-door meeting that such an assessment of Pyongyang's ability was "safe".
At the same time, Diehl said that the BND sees the talks of North and South Korea as a positive sign.
South Korean agency Yonhap reported today that a high-ranking North Korean diplomat went to Finland for talks with former US and South Korean officials as part of a series of diplomatic meetings that could precede the US-North Korean summit, which was attended by US President Donald Trump and leader of North Korea Kim Jong-un
