See which categories will not pay a health insurance premium next year

Insurance coverage for 2018 and application of "markers" in health insurance starts on Wednesday, 03.01.2018. years. - they reported from the TK Health Insurance Institute.

The amount of insurance premiums for 2018 amounts to 20.00 convertible marks per insured person.

It was found that from 01.01.2018. the following categories of population shall be exempted from the payment of participation:

- children up to the age of 15, students and regular students up to the age of 26;
- insured persons registered with the Employment Office as unemployed persons.

By deciding on the direct participation of insured persons in the costs of using certain forms of health care in the basic healthcare package in the territory of Tuzla Canton, it is envisaged that from 01.01.2019. the following categories of population shall be exempted from the payment of participation:
- women in the provision of health care in relation to pregnancy and maternity and health care users in relation to the prevention of breast cancer and cervical cancer;
- disabled disabled persons with 60% or more disabled;
- members of the Shahid family, or members of the family of killed or dead combatants who were members of the Army of FBiH;
- pensioners whose pension does not exceed the minimum pension amount according to the published data;
- persons older than 65 years, if they are not beneficiaries of pensions or other monthly income over the minimum pension amount according to the last published data;
- insured persons - residents of social institutions;
- insured persons - beneficiaries of social protection;
- displaced persons and refugees, if they are not pensioners or if their second monthly income does not exceed the minimum pension amount according to the last published data;
- insured persons who are blood donors and those who have given blood 10 and more times;
- Insured persons - providers of parts of the human body for the purpose of treatment;

From the payment of the participation, the persons suffering from the following diseases are exempted from the payment of the health insurance for the disease:

a) malignant diseases;
b) renal dialysis diseases;
c) turbozolose diseases;
d) HIV infection and other infectious diseases;
e) epilepsy;
f) systemic autoimmune diseases;
g) haemophilia;
h) insulin dependent diabetes;
i) paraplegia i kvadriplegije;
j) muscular dystrophies;
k) multiple sclerosis;
l) cerebral palsy;
m) mental disorders.

The envisaged deadline for the payment of insurance premiums for 2018 is 31.03.2018. years.
Upon expiry of the established deadline, the insurance premium will only be payable by persons who are first registered for compulsory health insurance in the registry of the Tuzla Canton Health Insurance Institute.
The insurance premium for 2017 ceases to be valid until 31.03.2018. years.
